Motoro Slime Coat Problem

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sounds like a water quality problem, unless youve added any treatments?

have you tested the water? ide be stepping up the waterchanges.
if theres a problem with ammonia or ph you need to get it stable asap.

done anything new to the tank or added new tankmates?

is she still eating?, how long have you had her?

is that your tank in your avitar? bare bottom? you may want to add some sand to allow her to hide. she is stressed and allowing her to hide will help.

water is abit cold as well. turn it up to around 82f

My niger cats around 2ft both were picking on her. I removed them though..Raising up my temperature and adding salt should help?

Like Sharp Tooth said, raise the temp up and add some salt, if its a water quality issue (which is probably is) start doing some more water changes, maybe 50% every 2-3 days instead of once a week. How big is your tank? stock and bioload? Filtration?

Looking better, I'll keep you updated in a week..
be careful about adding salt when its still in a solid form, make sure you dissolve it first then put in in your tank, the salt can burn the ray. also when i had rays i did 25% water changes every two days keep us posted!
