Motoro stingray with some sort of cut

I noticed this morning that my motoro stingray had a cut or something on the bottom of his disk this morning. I've had him about 8 months in a 75 gal tank with a silver arrowana. Fluval 205 as well as 2 sponge filters. I do 50% water changes once a week. This week I went about 10 days to help the Java moss grow on my log. So pretty much just keep an eye on it and it should get better?
 
Could be a wound from the bogwood started started to heal? My rays have cut themselves badly on wood in the tank before.

Just clean water, lots of big changes is the best way for health.
 
My bogwood has Java moss and other plants on it. It's been in the tank since I got my stingray 8 months ago. I just started adding plants to the wood. My stingray and arrowana have been acting normal and the mark on his disk has been getting better. But I really would like to know what it's from.

Doesnt mean it not from the bogwood just as plants on it?
