Motoro stingray

Hey guys
I've been thinking about getting a Motoro ray. I currently have a 125 tank with a gar a silver arowana and 2 tiger shovelnose catfish. How long would the ray last in 125 until I needed to upgrade? And how fast do they grow?

That's hard to answer as it depends on so meny viables food n water quality , but I would say a year but ur gonna need to upgrade soon any way with ur other stock as ur fish stock all need way bigger tanks

Yea planning on building a 300+ gallon plywood tank. Drawing out the plans and researching about sumps currently. Right now I have a canister rated for 200 gallons but I'm planning on getting another 1 to get the water even cleaner and for food I feed my fish chopped shrimp and pellets.

I do 50-60% weekly water changes.

Don't get the ray until you build that tank. My motoro went from 4" to 14" in under a year. It sounds like you already have a heavy stocked tank for the size of those fish and the size of that tank. Stingrays produce a ton of ammonia. You could end up hurting or possibly killing all the fish

I have a 360g with 2 rays and an Aro and I feel the tank is to small
