We have 5 rays for sale, they are as follows:

Large breeding male - proven $300

Medium wild caught female, has not breed yet, but should soon $200

2 pups born 12/9/10 - 1 Male and 1 Female $125.00 each

Another male pup born 2/12/11 - $100
No pic yet.

That will leave us with one large breeding female that will be forsale down the road. She got pretty beat up in a breeding frenzy after her last litter was born and we are keeping her until she is 100% healed and we know she is well. She is most definately carrying again and will be $350.00.

Bump for another KY native....Wish my biggest tank was bigger than a 125 so I could get one....Oh well, maybe another time....

If you just wanted a pretty one to keep the WC female would probably be ok in 125 if she was the only thing in there (at least for a little while). The pic doesn't do her justice. Rumor has it the WCs don't get as big as the CB, but I've never grown a WC out from a pup along with a CB so I can't attest to that. With rays though, bigger is always better when it comes to tank size. Thanks for the bump. :)

why u gotta play with my emotions...hahaha, I would love a ray, but the tank will have a black ghost knife, angels, discus, and bolivian rams, and I wouldn't be able to get it into a larger tank for at least 4 more years, so unless they just grow REALLY slow, i would think I would run out of room. What is the expected adult size of the WC female?

Sorry cdubel01...didn't mean to cause you pain. lol I would think she will get about 18" or so. She is 3 1/2 or 4 years old, which is older than our bigger CBs. She is probably 4" or so smaller across right now, eats like a horse though. Just doesn't seem to grow as fast. The 125 probably wouldn't last you 4 years. :(

MasterB - get with hubby....he mentioned possibly housing them for you for a little while if you need us to. We will have the pond up and running until Sandy (the beat up ray) is better and able to be sold. Danny tried releasing her today, but the male jumped on her in the first few seconds so we seperated them again.
