motoro tank mates

would a motoro pup be ok with a jardini and 2 spotted gar?
asking for a friend that might be buying my fish.

That should work out, since the aro is a top and the gar are mid dwellers. The only think you will have a worry about is that the ray gets enough food. I had a gar and he was a pig, he ate everything. So as long as the ray gets food he should be good. I don't see the gar picking on the motoro too much/at all. Id say go for it but at first sign of trouble take the gar out

Jardini is to aggressive to put with rays. Atleast thats what they told me when i put up a thead about this last week.. A silver may go for a while, but they grow fast, and need very big aquariums, they get around 80-100cm, and at that size, they could also nap the disk on the motoro.. A friend of mine had to sell his arrow couse he nipped on the motoros.

I have a 20" jardini with my motoro in a 180 gal with no problem at all.
The ray has been in there since it was a 4" pup
