motoro tank

would a tank with a 8'x4' footprint be okay for a pair of motoros?
also how do you breed them?

8*4 is wat is sugested for motoros
Breeding them you need atleast a MF mature rayss (1M-2F) is better but good water and alot of food

yup you need a pair plenty of swimming space great foods and pristine water.... a lil barry white might also help with some candle light

tank mates can have a affect if any stress is involved..... search theis forum there are lots of threads about tank mates...

That would be fine at work we have a 8x4 with 4 big motoro and a constella.

silver aro
oscars
red hook silver dollars
pike cichlids
freshwater cudas
a lima sn
aroyal pleco and
a redtail fei feng
could any of these cause any problems
if so i will forget about breeding them(for now)
and just get 1 ray

pleco is a not a good idea and pikes and rays dont mix from my experience.... oscars dont make good tank mates from what i have heard and im not sure on the freshwater cudas
