Motoro variants=location?

motoro, M superspot, m bullseye/white spot, marble... are these in any way due to location, river or country of origin? I see motoros for sale online without pictures and they will state (wild caughteru) can one get an idea the quality of ray by the origin?

i have asked the same ?, as i have one motoro thats way diffrent from the others, she has very intense spots an lots of them.

This is a great question! I think Rays like alot of African rift lake species differ greatly depending on where they are caught. I have two marble motoro and even when comparing them to other marbles I see the differences seem amazing and at times almost seem to be two different specie.
