Short video of my male Motoro. What is that behavior from 0:08-0:20? He does that a lot.

Nice looking motoro, has a simple pattern. The behavior is looking for food in the substrate. All rays do it.
Your convicts may end up as snacks as the ray gets bigger.

x2 what spot fin said. Nice ray. Was that a paroon shark I saw? If so, the convicts (and the other cichlids) may have more than the ray to worry about as these fish grow larger.
