Has anyone been successful with this combination? I currently have a 10 inch male retic, 7 inch female retic, and another 8 inch female motoro. The retics have grown up together since pups, and the female motoro has currently been currently introduced. I have a 6' by 2' tank, and I do frequent water changes. If anybody has with these hybrids let me know, send some pics and give me some details! Thanks :)

I want a retic soo bad, where did you find those? I used to live in london, and visit my sister there on occasion.

I bought them from someone who picked them up in Toronto. I know Big Als in london plans on selling rays, and a few other shops locally are already keeping a few in stock. Mind you they are selling them at 14 inches and asking 600-700 for a motoro or flower ray. I think when big als gets them in, the price wont be that ridiculous.

Also I realize my motoro is still too young, I am just planning for the future and was trying to find someone who ahs done this successfully. There is little to no information on Motoroxretics online. Ive been trying to google information for a while.

If info out there for a motoro x retic is hard to find, id imagine that ppl dont care for the mix or cant be done. Why make a cross? They aren't that sought after. Just breed pure Motoros. Problem with Motoro x retic is rays go through ppl so fast that if it looks more Motoro, when sold down the line it will just be sold as a Motoro cuz its easier and just messes up blood lines down the road for other ppl trying to breed them. Also retics don't mature until around 3 years.

I see motoro pups all the time in newmarket when I visit my parents, they want $150, which I always refuse because I know there is a breeder in town, who sells them to the lfs for $50 a piece, so why would I pay triple the price. Although, last time i was there, I got the guys name and phone number muhahaha.
