i really like fw rays, and would like to know how long a motoro could live in a 72" x 18-24" x 18" (dont know how wide i can do right now, but it will have atleast 18") and are they ok with a clown knifefish and a fire eel. also ive heard a lot of different adult sizes, how bug do they usually get?
P.S. a motoro would cost around $500, is that an ok price?

for a motoro that is pretty high.... and ur tank wouldnt be good for life... the motoro can have a disk size of 24" + and you have to take into account tail length after that

a 72"x24"x24" tank 180 gallons would be best and you could grow to 14"disk in there so you got a few years to upgrade.... if you cant swing the 180 i wouldnt go for rays just yet.... the knife fish might compete for food the eel might turn into food...

he is in canada makes a big difference in price.... so depending on where he is that might be a good deal...

In edmonton the price for a motoro is between 150 to 300. I have a 12" clown knife with mine and have no problems. Put in some 4" pvc and he stays in there most of the day along with my lttle henlie. just make sure you feed once at night.

how can an eel that gets 40" long be eaten by a stingray? (dont stingrays have relatively small mouth, compared to other monsters)
