I think it does look normal. I would just make sure that any heater in the tank is not exposed and you cover it. If you have an exposed heater you gotta cover asap or it will get worse.
is the heater exposed or do you have it covered? It does look like a burn mark if you are referring to the right side of the picture.
My heater is covered. The mark was there when I got him. My question was about the tiny bumps wasn't sure if that was normal or not
Yeah I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes they get small bumps. I would just do 30-40% water changes every other day. I believe someone mentioned that it happens and it's not known why but it usually goes away. Especially with younger rays
