I've got a pack of ten synodontis, 5" or so, in my 180 gal. Because there are so many of them in there, most of the territorial squabbles occur amongst themselves, and they really have no interest in the other fish in there. Do you think motoros would do well in there? I've got two pups, around 4-5", that I could keep in a 55 gal till they outgrow it, but I'd much rather not have to set up another tank if I don't have to.

bad idea. i have a friend who has a 90 gallon tank with 1 motoro, 1 retic (young). just added 3 syn and they messed up the rays pretty badly.
syns are way too aggresive to put in with a delicate fish in my opinion, would not risk it. others may disagree
