looking awesome cant wait to get mine whta is the one in your avatar pic he looks cool

not sure the type of him..was a cute pic i found till i got my own ^_^ should change that now

that is cool!!
while fishing with my friends we caught some sculpin but i guess they have both sw and fw

do those eat the guppies? i have a 10g that is cycling that im doing plants with like a baby guppy cranking population of guppies and i was wondering if sculpins ate adults

he cant fit the adults in his mouth yet..so he dose not eat them though he loves there fry, witch with 4 females we get a batch every few weeks

hes only about 2 inches now.. im guessing when he hits closer to 3 inches and up some of the adults will start to disappear though two of my female guppies are huge, but for now he just watches them..hoping for babies

well i was wrong..down one fancy male guppy..not sure how he fit in to his gut let alone his mouth but its gone and he spent two days fat as can be sitting under the flow of the filter,
and hes starting to follow the camera around

few things. one what is the temp of that tank?
how are u keeping guppys with sculpin?
he looks very good though.
i wish i still had mine. have to get another(and now have to get another dace, the cray decided to eat him)

the tank stays about 68-70, i know they prefer colder waters but he has been doing good in this rage for about a year now
and the guppies are for food most of the females are way to big to fit in to his mouth
but apparently not the males, anymore
i box the females when they are having babies, keep the fry in the box for a few weeks and let them out for him to eat

update!!!

now after two large fancy guppys and an otto cat down ^_^ i decided my little sculpin needs a bigger tank!

hes moving from his 10 gallon planted tank to a 35 gallon, rocky/log tank..maybe with a few anubis..have his tank up and running cycling it now and soon as its up and ready ill be dropping him in to his new home !!

ill get new pics up soon, hes gotten really dark nearly black...hes having an attitude after leaving him for 4 days over the weekend.
