.....thats a good question....
Not sure if this is the right place so mods please move to a more appropriate place.

Alright, i had a redtail payara kick the bucket on me and i wanted to mount the skull. Its in the freezer now and i guess the question is: Is there any special way to go about doing this? Do i boil it and glue the peices back together? Any help will be appreciated!

Ive never doe it but a friend of mine leaves the fish near an ants nest for a couple of weeks. They pick it clean and then he carefully glues it together and varnishes. I guess you could boil and peel away all the flesh but it would still smell for a while afterwards ...?

I kept a large bristle nose I found dead and dried up on the floor once. I put it out in the sun for a few days. It had already dried up intact and I just varnished and mounted.
