When I first got my Oscars I fed them feeders not knowing any better. Then I learned that feeders from a lfs were bad news unless you quarintined them at home. I dont have any extra tanks to quarintine feeders so I quit feeding them all together. My oscars jumped right in on eating pellets and live earthworms. I am glad I found out about feeders before I lost my oscars.

I cannot get my bowfin to eat live food either. He will eat pellets and frozen though.
