I've been treating my Congo Tetras for about 6 days for mouth fungus. It was almost gone after the fourth day and now its back like it was in the beginning. What is wrong... Should I try another treatment?

P.S.- I'm posting in this forum because I never get any responses in the diseases and health forum.:screwy:

temp?
nitrates?
salt?
tank size?
fish size?
filtration?
lol?

I'm thinking of Pimafix too.

add 1 tsp/salt per 2 gallons.

Normally its 1 tsp per gallon bt tetras are sensitive.

Put fish in a hospital tank and treat with antibiotics like maracyn and maracyn2 at the same time. Treat for 5-7 days and problem solved. It is expensive but will work. For congo tetra's i might just add salt and let them ride. Only because the meds will cost more than a few new tetra's.--------Sorry its harsh but true.
