I just recently noticed a fish that I ordered online started to develop mouth rot/fungus its tail was also bit by another fish and now looks like its tail has a fungus growing on it as well, probably tail rot. Its mouth looked like it was full of cotton and could not close its mouth, its still eats and I just started treating it with an antibiotic, Maracyn 2. The question I have is, after this rot/fungus goes away if it does, will the mouth go back to normal? It almost looks like its peeling back (upper lip peeled upward, and lower lip peeled downward), and shows a white cloudy looking cotton growing on its mouth. I've never dealt with this type of outbreak before so I want to know what to expect.:nilly:

This type of outbreak is resilient to higher temp, in fact it thrives at higher temp, I've lowered my temp to about 72-74 as guppy indicated in the sticky above, however I'm just wondering if the fungus/rot goes away and the mouth goes to looking back to normal. Although I'm am sure it will, just would like to confirm.
