Mouthbrooding severum

so I am priedged enough to be able to see the list of fish my lfs can get. I saw mouthbrooding severums on the list. I cannot find any real good info on them as I guess they are hard to come by or
Just not desired. My question is are thy kept like normal severums and do they in fact mouthbrood. Any insight would be highly appreciated thanks

They’re not hard to come by. Google Heros liberifer. They are kept like any other Heros — clean water with frequent water changes, temperature in the low 80s, variety of foods, and a large tank because they are a big and boisterous fish that can get up to 10 - 11”. The fish will lay eggs on substrate like normal severums and then mouthbrood the fry once the eggs hatch.

Yep, they mouth brood. My female is currently holding in her mouth right now. I have a bunch of .5" growing out.
