Mouthing food and spitting it out

I'm concerned about my 5-6" ebjd which is suddenly exhibiting these symptoms. I know fish get finicky sometimes, but anyone who is familiar iwth ebjds knows that this is not something to take lightly! Mine seems to want to eat (which is not the usual ebjd problem), but can't seem to swallow. I remember a thread somewhere with a similar issue, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone remember it and know where to find it, or, barring that, have any ideas?
I'm treating with Jungle Parasite Clear which is the first response to ebjd problems, but so far (24 hours) no help.

Sounds like when I eat brussle sprouts yuck!

thats all I would say it is when I switch foods my fish spit it out for a day or two then they get hungry enough and like it.

doesn't sound like too big of a deal, maybe just try some salt and elevated water temp for starters

is it the same food as usual! because sometimes if the pellet is too big they will spit it out repeatedly until it becomes small enough top be swallowed! thats what my jack did when he was small with algae wafers! but now he could eat a couple whole at a time! but i dont feed him too many though! just to give him a lil bit of spirulina!
