I have 2 tanks. One is a 10 gallon tank and the other a 5. In the 5 gallon I have 1 adult platy and 2 juveniles and 2 babies. They are doing okay.
In the 10 gallon, I have 2 dwarf platies (both male) and a mickey mouse platy (small). There were more in there, but over time they got old and passed on.

Do you think it will be okay to move the 5 gallon fish into the 10 gallon? The dwarfs have never had any other fish in there. When I first got them, they had babies, and I left them all alone in there.

My other 10 has 7 baby variatus. Actually it is 6 juveniles and 1 baby. I don't think I should move anything into that tank as it will be enough when they are grown, considering the baby is from one already in there ;)

No, they aren't small enough to be eaten. And the fish haven't bothered the 2 wee babies in their 5 gallon either. I will transfer them in the morning, I think. I want to get a couple of black mollies, as I miss mine and will put them in the 5 :)
