Hello all, just thought i would post some new pics i took today. These are my 13 mpimbwe fry and two burundi. I got them one month ago, they were very very tiny. In the month i have had them they have doubled in size and are getting the bigger fry/juvie shape now. (When i netted them about half actually could be felt in the net lol) I moved them to the 75 gallon grow out tank. Hope you all enjoy.

I feed a small amount (they eat it all in less than one minute) several times a day (2 or 3 times) Since i am feeding a couple times a day i do a extra water change each week and rinse out the filter cartride every 3 or 4 days to make sure i dont get alot of garbage in the water. Has worked well for me so far. They were so tiny when i first got them , true fry, they were so small i was suprised they could ship them that small. In one month they have grown to the size my burundi fronts were when i purchased them in the LFS. I bought those at the 1-1.5 inch size and these are mostly at 1 inch or slightly under now. I feed both sinking mini pellets and flake food, i also give them one tubiflex square a day, thats the treat i give them to teach them to hand feed, they love it and swarm around my hand , tearing off chuncks of it, going inbetween my fingers and sitting in the palm of my hand . Its great. I hope they will start doing that again, they are a bit afraid of me now that i moved them.

They are looking really good =]

Yeah i know they do LOL. The tank was my hap and peacock tank, had to move all of them in the 135 gallon tank. It is not the final tank for them, just the grow out tank. I need to look this summer for another six foot tank for them.

Thanks for the nice comments everybody.

good god man get some sand...

lol.... I know the problem... I finally broke down and changed the gravel out of the grow out tanks... I was pretty happy with the end result.

Very nice little brood...
