So i moved my RBP to a 55gal tank bout a week or 2 ago and they're skittish now...wen they were in the 38 gal..they were fine..they would swim up to the glass wen i came to check up on them but now they run and hide!!! Is there a reason for this?

They remember you as the one that chased em around the tank & scooped em up in that net & moved em to bigger tank. Start over again. Be slow around tank.make em rise to eat. It might take a week or so but they'll calm back down

Also, add plenty of decoration to make them feel more at home. More places to hide, the less they will actually hide

I'd take a pix of my tank to show ya but my sis got the camera. I have 5 juvies, 3 bout a quarter size and 2 that are alil bigger than a dollar coin. I feed them dried bloodworms which floats at the top and they're fine eating it in front of me. Also wen i put the net in there, they're not scared of the net...they're scared of me...they would actually sometimes go into the net.

Even wen i first put them in the 55gal they would swim up to the glass...idk why but all of a sudden they're all hidding

do you have enough decor for each of them? idk for sure but it would probably make a difference otherwise like BRUNER said..

Here's a pix of my tank, i had to take it from the side cuz of a window reflection

i'd just give them a couple weeks to get use to the new environment. It takes them sometime to get used to the new tank. Also are your water parimeters the same as the old tanks was? They're prolly just a little stressed from the move.

They're good now. they're swimmin arnd the tank like normal but still kinda skittish wen i walk pass. Thanks foe ya concers and help! :D
