ok,i have a 320 gal established tank and nead to replace the tile in the house,i have a few ideas of my own but would like to hear what others are thinking or have done in thier expierances??????????...thanks for any info.
If the tank just needs to be temporarily moved for the tile to be redone, I would buy a few large Rubbermaid containers and set up a temporary home for the fish until the work is done. With the big containers you can run your heater and a filter.
I'm a fan of the rubbermaid storage container idea. I did the same thing when I moved my 125. They are usually pretty cheap at home depot / lowes as well as wally world. And when your all finished up, you've got a few containers that are good for holding just about anything.
I used rubbermaid tub when I relocated my tank. I setup the Aquaclear HOB filter on the tub and added an airstone. The filter didn't fit well on the tub and needed to be propped up. Some fish didn't like being in the tub and tried to jump out so you might want to put the cover on loosely. It worked out great.
