I've never seen this before so, when I did I had to let it out. Have you ever seen Zombieland? If no, go to another thread as this will make no sense. If yes, read on. So, I'm watching this movie called Shade(2003) and about minute 3 comes this scene where a good looking woman pulls into a gas station and loses her ring. She tells the attendant theres a big reward and the person that finds it bilks the guy outta all the dough in the cash register just like the girls did in Zombieland. So, this is the closest thing to movie plaguirism I've ever seen. I could let it slide say if maybe the writer and/or director was the same but, its not. Completely seperate crews on either film, I researched it. Am I overreacting? You let me know. I think there's dirty pool in Hollywood.

Its most likely just a textbook scam. There are all kinds of cons like that and they get used in movies all the time. The writers on both films found the idea somewhere as I doubt either of them are conmen or have that particular warp to their thinking to come up with that on their own.

I bet they took it right from that movie. Happens all the time. The scene in Dukes of Hazzard when they get pulled over on the college campus is the first scene in Super Troopers. I don't really care about that stuff I find it funny usually.
