Seems, these days, like alot of the movies that come out are remakes of some sort. Some are good some are bad. I don't know if producers are runnin out of ideas or they just think they can just do it better.

So what are your favorite movie remakes and what movies do you never want to see remade. good or bad.

And just for laughs what sequels do you want or not want to see.

my favorite remakes would be:
rob zombie's halloween.....very cool
the new batman's with christian bale

movies i don't want to see remade:
fight club...no one could top ed norton and brad pitt
goonies...common, it's the goonies. a remake would be a sin against a classic.

sequels:
fast and the furious...if they come out with another one, i'll puke
harry potter...seriously, the guy is like 25 years old...STOP!!

So yeah, post'em up!!
 
They kind of have to keep going with Harry Potter...
Can't exactly stop in the middle of the series, especially with the money they're making. First half of the last one comes out in 2010, then the second half in 2011, so you won't have to put up with them anymore...
 
rambo 5 is also in production. i loved all the rambo movies. id like to see old school 2 because the first one was hilarious.
 
I am a huge Zombie movie buff... The George Romero are the standard. I really liked the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

I like the new Batman movies as well.

Im scared to death of this Nightmare on Elm Street they are making. Freddy stalked my nightmares as an 80's kid growing up. I hope they dont ruin it.

I have heard rumor of a remake to the Evil Dead movies. Do not ruin The Evil Dead. Supposedly Ashton Kutcher will be playing the part made famous by THE Bruce Campbell.
