It looks like i'm going to be getting a great deal off craigslist for a 180 gallon tank and stand. My question is this:
I figure loading it into car, can just muscle it with two guys. 330lbs weight. When I get it back to my house, I have to move it downstairs. I was considering wrapping the tank in blanket(s) and putting it on a hand truck, then gentle "coaxing" it down 1 stair at a time. Thoughts?
Mostly from what i've read with this size tank, people set it up on the stairs, have 1/2 guys at the bottom bracing their weight against it, and kind of walk it down like that. Seems dangerous to me.
