This, and another question, are you doing it in one straight shot? Like taking turns with someone to make it a straight 36 hour drive? Either way you will also want heaters. I know you can buy adapters from a cars power outlet to a normal one like you would find in a house, I have one, you should definitely look into it for a trip like this. You will also want to try and keep your BB alive in your filters otherwise you'll find problems later on as I am sure you know.

But yeah transport info? How long, stops and such

I have a marine hang on the back canister filter for 55g air pump air stone the outlet you where talking about and a 55g rubbermaid container and heaters should i try to run the hob canister for them hope i dont blow a fuse in the car. Im doing the trip alone straight shot from texas to massachusetts did it in 32hrs before.

Wow, good time and thats gotta be a hell of a sucky/lonely drive to do solo. And hmm, maybe, but what about the water level? If its too high when you stop it will splash out, maybe just throw the filter media in a sock and throw a pump on it to keep it alive and use less energy I think? If you angle it right you can use the pump to agitate the water so you take the air pump out of the equation?

A seeded sponge filter. A heater is iffy IMO. You'll be driving with your heater on any ways. Just keep it the bin on the floor on the passenger side.

thats true see I have 5 tanks 75 55 2 29s and 2 10s and im moving to be closer to my son and cant afford to ship anything so i have to start over which blows but after a few months i will by a 180 or bigger tank and have a 55 for breeding the blue dempseys going to try and sell them on craigs list and to lfs in the area cheaper than what hey get them for. But as far as traveling My car is only a 4door civic driving only cost 140 in gas and the heat in the car will be on at night so the fish should be fine i will prob take a 29gallon with me. If i could i would take out the passenger seat and ship it up north if its cheap enough. I just love my fish.

I have some argentea convict hybrids if anyone would want to meet me on the way of my travels they will be free I drive through Arkansas Tennessee Virginia Pennsylvania New Jersey New York and Connecticut
