Over the weekend I met up with Ted and Todd from www.anythingfish.com. Todd had decided that the 30" Arapaima was just bothering his rays too much and it had to go back to Ted. I offered to help move the Monster abd I must say, it was one hell of a job moving that sucker.

First let's start off with some pics of the tank the Arapaima was in.

Now this is THE BIGGEST Silver Arowana I have ever seen in someone home tank. He'll it's even bigger than most I have seen in public aquariums. The Silver just dwarfs the 30" Arapaima. It's PURE MONSTER!!!!!!

Later on the Arapaima leaps clear out of the water, over the center brace of the tank

Trying to corner it and move it into position.

It wasn't cooperating and went to my side. My turn to move it.

I somehow managed to catch it in the net and block it between the glass. But then I realized........NOW WHAT?????

Todd took his net and covered the other end slowly so it wouldn't jump out or else we'd have to start all over again.

We then move the Arapaima to a big Rubbermaid Container and bungy corded the cover so it wouldn't pop off in case it jumps. Good thing we did because it sure did jump a few times.

Here is its now swimming and enjoying its new home in Ted's 2400G Tank. Check out that Pacu.
