Im getting a 180 on saturday. The problem is, i only have a minivan available. I can fit the tank inside the minivan but the wood stand wont fit in.

My friend whos very handy tells me that i can tie the stand down on the roof rack of the minivan. He told me to just tie it real well and it should hold.

Any thoughts comments on this?

Just tie it down right you don't want the cabinet flipping down the street. You might also want to just do it in 2 trips or rent a U-Haul. How far do you have to drive?

Make sure the rack on top can handle that kind of weight. If it can you should be good if its tied down well.

Should be fine be careful putting it up and down,Duct tape or tie the doors shut so they dont flap open and break

I did construction for 4 years and the one thing I learned is- You can always fit it on the roof of the van.

allright! thanks for the tips guys !

i dont want to do 2 trips if i can make it with one. The trip will take about 20-30 miles..it shouldnt be that bad. im really afraid of the cabinet flying and landing on a car or worse.. i dont want to rent a uhaul because i hate drving those things. Plus it would cost me another 100 bucks more or less..

my friend who does construction part time also vouched that the minivan with a rack can support a tank cabinet.. he told me to use a comforter to avoid scratching the van and to tie it down real good.

Well see what happens saturday. Ill try to take pics if i can.

if it flys off just look straight and hit the petal on the right :naughty:

IDK if you've got any styrofoam lying around, but I've found that works the best. THe corner peices are awesome too. Be generous with padding and secure it. You'll be alright.
