In a few years, I plan to move to Florida. I will be selling off a majority of my livestock but plan to bring a few of them with me. I have a reef and an eartheater tank. The reef, I plan to rent a Uhaul trailer, use my old DIY 20 long stand, fill that tank up with tank water and LR and the corals (which are few)I'm bringing with me in the tank, powered by a generator. Not sure how to transport fish. The trip will most likely last 2 days by car, not to mention I have difficulty staying up over 24 hours. I will bring only 1 tank (180G) besides the 20long. Any tips? This is going to be WAY later, like 3-6 years, just like to plan ahead of time.

How many hours does it take to drive the distance? That will give a better idea. Personally I would have a lfs that you trust hold your fish for you while you get ready to move and ship them to your new house. Worth the money.... I don't know just a thought off the top of my head

The trip will take 48 hours, at least. I might keep fish in buckets with airstones and little HOB filters.
