the tank is 72"l x 18"w x 20"h and it needs a new stand. ive never moved an acrylic stand before, just glass. I have never emptied my glass tanks 100% (water/rocks) and have been fine. can I leave a few inches in an acrylic tank of just sand/water? or will that cause problems? I will be moving it to the floor, then I'll slide it to where it needs to go, then lift it up.

Sorry if its a dumb question, i just wanna make sure im not making a mistake by not emptying it 100%

Thanks.

I don't think it should be a problem. I'd just try an get maybe 2 friends to help so one can support the middle. I've move my 55 acrylic with about 3-4" or rock in it several times never had a problem.
