Moving bead filter

Hi all the middle bay of my sump is not used at the moment.
What iam thinking of doing is putting K1 media in and having a
moving bead chamber . As anybody tried this ? If so how did u get
to work thanks

I guess that could work, but would it be worth buying all those powerheads (or whatever else) to keep the beads moving? I'm not knocking your idea, I like it, but can you throw up some more details?
