Moving bed filter media

Hey guys, looking for some bed filter media. Where can i buy it? Is k1 the best way to go? or is there a cheaper alternative that produces the same result?

Bought 4 cu ft of MB3 recently 164 bucks shipped. Not sure what K1 is running now but the MB3 is 33.50 a cu ft.
