moving bed filters

ive just been going around youtube and have come across these things
moving bed filters

now most people making these use them on koi ponds but the first video seems the perfect thing to have set up in case of a power outage,
i was just wondering if anyone is using this kind of filter set up and could post pics ?

Different take on a fluidised bed filter.
Nothing really new.
Butt ugly in a tank, better hidden in a sump...but if you have a sump, you really wouldn`t need this filter.
