Hi guys,

I want to move my BGK from quarantine (has been in quarantine for a month now) into my 400L tank. It already houses six juvenile angelfish, a pictus, and a gold nugget with a bronze cory. I'm going to rehome the pictus soon, but just wanted to ask - do you think there will be any casualties? I had two guppies in there, but I've taken them out already.

My ghost is in with two angels and a lf rosey barb. Never been an issue between them.

ok, should i move him then? I think I will move his cave from quarantine into the main tank as well because it will make him feel better. I love the way how my community tank is set up right now, i don't want to disturb my fishes or have casualties, that's why this year i have introduced "quarantine" lol and i'm quarantining all fish for a least a month. tonight i will add him to the tank and hope he has not tried to eat my angels or anything.

they are mellow fish, keeping themselves to themselves..you wont have any problems with the BGK,if anything it will be the other way round :)

well i hope that it goes ok, i really like my BGK but i like my angels as well, if anything were to happen to either of them i would be upset. i hope it goes ok. i want to move him now but im worried he may get stressed as he's in his cave, so i can't make him come out. will move him when he comes out by himself.

ok, well i will def move him. i put my net thing in the entrance of his cave, hopefully he will swim into it sometime today, mine is very curious, unfortunately his cave has so many holes in it that all he needs to do it poke his head out of it and be curious in a sneaky way.

I'm only going to state of my experience.
My bgk has killed a royal panaque and green phantom plec. Ripped tails and sucked eyes out :(
I have a sailfin plec in and seems ok apart from a little sniffing about but he hasn't tried to kill it.
I've tried to introduce large adolphi cory's and he grabbed 1 straight away but it managed to get away and i removed them to another tank.
Large sided fish like angels and gourami's should be ok.
As your bgk isn't very big it should be ok in theory as it's the new addition but for adding stock afterwards, especially when it's getting bigger may be a problem.
I have 3 gold panchax in but he doesn't seem to bother them but they are fast swimmers.
Keep a close eye on your bgk :)

I added him to my tank half an hour ago...been watching him, he seems scared - he has swum into a log cave and is now "defending" it by chasing away anyone who approaches it. hopefully he won't turn out to be too bad and he will be able to get along with everyone. he doesn't seem to be bothering anyone, but i will know what his true nature is by tomorrow morning lol. seems like they strike when its dark! ;)

he's small so i dont think he will develop nasty psychopathic tendencies :) ,i guess the logs his new home then :D
