I'd like to hear about any tips for making it easier or smoother to move large aquariums. I borrowed an old ambulance gurny to move a 125. The handles and wheels made it much easier to move. Thanks.

i used a winch line around a pully hooked onto a truck hitch centered into the side entrance door of he house and used a 30ft tow strap around a 600gal all glass tank and postioned the tank onto the basement stairs and used the second truck to drive away with the winch line attached to his hitch and just pulled the tank right up and out of the basement very slick!!!

We rented a pallet jack to move our tank and stand a few times.

Suction cups are the way to go. I used four 8'' suction cups to move my 300 glass aquarium and also used them to my my 822 gallon arcylic. They are worth their weight in gold/money. lol Made life so mcuh easier. When I sold my 300 gallon, to a friend we decided to split the purchase on four suction cups, so whenever we need to move either tank we can use the other prtdon two cups and trust me if you own a big tank at some point you will have to move it.

I used to cherry pickers or engine hoist to lift my tanks...I also used a lot of man power to lift my tanks...My 360 is glass and my 750 is acrylic..It took 6 guys each tank...
