Moving Cichla

How do you guys move cichla with out hurting them?

The other day I used a net to catch my 15 inch cichla, and the net scratched his eye all up, and the LFS gave me nothin for it

Now I am moving my Rio Metas to a different tank, and they cannot be hurt.

i used my hands and a cooler when i moved my 3, there around a foot, but mine are pretty social

okay through them some roofilen or roofys walahh lol just jokin. the real way i did it below

i turned my lights off for an hour or two then snatched while they was nappin only thing was a couple of scratches but melafix fixed it in a week gluck homie

I will get some pics after I do this. Yesterday I moved my bass, he must have been over a pound! And the Clown Knife was just squishy muscle. I gotta edit the pics first though

I think I will lead him into a plastic bag and run him to the new tank.

soak some roofys in a glass of water disolve it and then whala floating cichla. easy to move easy to handle hahahah
