moving convicts

its been about a week now since my fry started swimming around, but i was wondering if i was to move the parents along with the fry to another tank, would the parents freak out and eat the babies?

Mine didnt, when i moved from my old apartment i had to take a pair of bredding convicts with 4 day old fry from my 150g and put them in a 10 gal bucket... then in the new apartment back to the 150g... they took care of the fry in the bucket and back in the tank.. they were only mad at me hehe

You could risk it. If their tank is probably only them, the fry should be fine. If their tank has other fish, they will likely eat out of stress. You could always hatch some brine shrimp and artificially raise em.
