I currently have 4 discus, 2-3.5" each and am going to be moving states. Can I move them all in one cooler, with filter media and battery operated pump, or are they likely to pick on each other in such a small space? They'll likely be in there 24-48 hours.
If I can pack them all together, I'd like to take their tankmate, an angelfish with us, but if not, I just don't have the space, and I'll have to give him away.

Thanks for any insight.

Dont feed them for 2 days prior to your move...it'll reduce waste that is in the cooler, which will reduce the overall ammonia levels. Dont worry about putting filter material in the cooler with them...just a few airstones to keep them alive. And a heater if you can... Other than that, just dont slosh them around too much and they'll make the trip just fine.
