i am in the final process of moving to my new apt (the crap shack) and i will be moving my fish tanks in the morning.
i plan on putting 1 fish per bag and the big fish in buckets. dose this seem like a good idea? the move should only take about 2hrs (to bag all fish, empty the tanks, load the tanks in the truck and bring them over to my new place and set em up again)

:iagree: bagging them up seems like a waste of time imo. I'd put them all in buckets, or you could do like I did when I moved and buy a rubbermaid storage container or 2. rinse it out and you have a very large fish transporter for less than $10. :thumbsup:

ty for the info, i think i will get 2 big coolers to put em in rather than bagging 30+ fish

Hmmmm rubbermaid, sounds good I will be moving in about 2 weeks hehe =).

Where abouts in IL are you moving to/from??

Sweet.... I'm from Wheeling/Arlington Hts. Recently moved to Long Grove. Good luck with your move!

good luck with the move, hope the new place has room for more tanks!

Coolers have always worked fine for my moves as well as buckets.. I popped the top for a few minutes when I moved mroe than an hour .... But I agree...{Buckets, cooolers, rubber maid...}
