I have 4 IT in a 40b with p saulosi. They all have been trained on to pellets, they're even starting to eat the saulosi's algaemax. 2 are big enough(3.5") to move to the 240, the other 2 are an inch smaller so I'd like to get them a bit bigger before moving. Would it be a bad idea to split the group for a few months until they're all big enough? One of the big ones gets a little too excited to eat so between him and the speed of the saulosi I was thinking it would be beneficial to reduce some competition for food but not sure about messing with the group dynamic.
