My Haiti is about 2.5 inch and I wanted to move him into another tank, should I completely avoid this to avoid chance of bloat? He will go from one to the other right next to each other. I will try to do it as as I can. Any advice from you guys with hairs!

I don't even have to net him cause he is in a ten gallon I can acclimate him then pick up tank and pour 10 into other?

As long as the temp is the same (especially not any cooler), the new tank has somewhere to hide, and there aren't any other fish in the tank, it shouldn't bloat. I have moved many haits without bloat, except they did bloat when chilled (added to cooler water temp), or when other fish were present they couldn't immediately kill.

Thanks Duanes, I have them solo with two 30 percent water changes a week temp at 86 and they are doing amazing feeding nls exclusive, growing slow but steady.

acclimate him for a while. And then go for it....

It shouldn't be an issue as long as there's no major temp difference. I never had a issue moving any of my haits.
