Moving K1

Hi my tank was clear with good water untill I added 25lts of K1 to the last bay of my filter I move the K1 with 2 air stones . It's been in now 8 weeks with the last 2 weeks the water getting more cloudy .
Any ideas ?

How long has the tank been running? Was it cycled prior to adding the media?

Been running over a year with fx5 and pond filter and 400 bio balls in sump . I wanted to add some more media as the sump add nothing in the middle chamber so added moving K1

I think prior to K1 your sump acted as a settlement chamber. Now with air stones you're preventing the detris from settling. You need a better mechanical filter or bigger sump. My 2 cents.
