Moving Large aquarium

How do you move a very large 230g tank without asking the football team for help? Has anyone bought or built something so a couple of guys can move it? Suggestions!

my buddy and i moved my 210 7x2x2 with no problems. no tools needed other than some food and beer

I've found beer works well. People show up and the tank gets moved.

Beer and pizza or cookout food usually gets friends over..

But I've moved a 180g(6x2x2) by myself a short distance with the help of a hand truck and some thoughtful thinking of how to clear steps/get off of the stand by myself.

3 buddies and me moved my 300g twice,in the house then in it's final resting spot. Some beer was there, and food. It took longer to brace up the floor. We now enjoy sitting around watching the fish ...with a cold beer.

If you can get a rolling cart they work wonders. Something that the top would be around waist high with 4 wheels underneath. I have used a similar cart and man what a difference it makes. It is almost...dare i say...easy?

yeah im pretty sure the people of egypt where the first to discover amazing things can be done with a few men and the promise of beer, hell offer a bbq and it you will have more than enough help.

Take off all the water and put fishes, plants and filter material in a bucket and THEN take the beer, the worse ISN'T pass!
