Well I think I will be moving from Ontario to Nova Scotia for July 1st, it is a 18 hour drive so I will probly make it in 24-30 hours.

since my fish are still small I was thinking of getting 3 or 4 50gal rubbermaid containers:

I will also be putting the sand and bio media in them (so the BB doesnt die off completely, so I was wondering if that would be good enough since they are still small and will be divided up into small groups in the 50gal containers, I will also be dosing them prime every 12hours or so.

I dont know about putting the media in with them .. but sounds like you have a plan, only thing i would suggest would be to get some battery operated air pumps to keep some oxygen and water movement . good luck, moving always sucks!

I recommend keeping the sand and bio materials in a seperate container that is wet but not full. to keep it alive but not in the same water as the fish. It will be constantly agitated and may stress the fish more..

Good planning ahead!

deffinetly get a couple a battery air pumps from walmart for 5 bucks and they should be fine.Dont let the water temp drop to much

I was thinking of getting a deep cycle car battery and a power inverter w/ a power bar and running some heaters and some cheap air pumps...
