Moving my fish room

I just brought a new house and have to move 5 tanks 180,220,125,125,40 any ideas on how should i go about moving all tanks with out killing all of my fish i go to settlement in 45 days

yes sell the 40 and buy a 300 then you can put the residents from the 125 125 and 40 in that an move the tanks then use the 125 to hold the 180 move the 180 and hold the 220 then move it and set up all the tanks

no clue but gd luck sounds like alot a work. if i were you i would probably do one tank at a time if possible.

GL with the move i hate moving tanks its such a pain!

How far are you moving? What size and types of fish do you have? Plastic trash cans partially full of water with fresh plastic liners work well for transporting fish as do large ice chests or plastic totes. I would empty and move one at a time, (including gravel and decor) getting each tank reset up with it's inhabitants at your new place as quickly and efficiently as possible. Otherwise there is no way you're going to get them all moved and reset up at the same time without a small army of people. Think it through and plan ahead. You are wise to post here and ask for suggestions. You might want to do a search on this same topic too. There have been a fair amount of other threads about this topic. Good luck with the move.

Best bet if you can do it. is to get at least a holding tank (rubbermaid stock tank) and move fish to the stock tank, drain move and reassemble a tank, add fish back to tank that was just moved. then repete
