Ok i've come to the decision that the kenyi i have has got to go, but i think i've found a good home. A friend of mine all ready has a fish that is a n african cichlid. He's a juliidochromis. Would they be ok together in a well planted 10 gal. tank with lots of places to hide? The julli is about 5 " and the kenyi is about 2".

I need an answer by morning because that is when i'm gonna move her. But take your time cause i don't want to make a bigger problem moving.
Oh my god...a Kenyi in a 10gal is a terrible! plan. Especially with another fish..a Lake Tang, small, 'calm' fish. The kenyi will kill your friend's fish, then probably die from being in a much too small tank.
Will it still kill it if they're in a bigger tank. And keep in my we don't know that's why we ask first.
We also have an empty twenty nine and five. So would we be better off just putting it by itself. It's not that i don't want your advice, Just don't be mean about it.
Wasn't trying to be mean, I was just trying to stress how bad of an idea it is...you get so many people who ask for advice, then do what they want anyway, so I was just trying to really make sure you understood that it really is a bad idea.
Anyway, I wouldn't put the kenyi in with his julie in any sized tank. They simply are not compatable. That being said, there's no reason why the kenyi should have to live alone, either. Why not give it to your lfs?
