me and my wife recently purchased our first home. I have had to do some strategic moving and selling of fish
i sold all of my mature African collection , and gave the juveniles and a 45 tank to a friend/neighbour,
and helped him set up a tank with all my water and my filters....smart:headbang2it was a few pails to transport to be sure, but had to be done

i am keeping of coarse my Jardini , RTG's, green/red/rtg something:ROFL:and my silver
today i will move my jardini and his friend the tsn/rtc to my shop which has a tank established for 4 years....the water is great , however the tank is small so he will come back home soon

the plan is to move my biggest tank first, fill it halfway with old water and switch the filers over let it sit for 2 days and then move my RTG's and silver...with my pbass into my 180

then im going to empty out my 110 move it and then start on the green/// in the same fashion

my method of capture is to use a pillow case to catch my boys....ive done it before and had great results and little damage:headbang2
they will then be transfered into a rubbermaid with air and heat for the trip:headbang2very slowly two blocks down....my new house and my shop are both less than 5 min travel:headbang2thank the gods

i will be posting pics almost daily of this process and would like all of you to wish me luck and keep your digital fingers crossed for my boys

gimme a few hours to post:drool:
