I have a 55gal that is cycled, with 2 ac 110's on it. And I have a 46gal that I want to cycle, well I know all I need to do is move media from my 55 to my 46. Well the sponges in the ac 110's are huge, and won't fit in my filters on my 46. I was wondering if the carbon bag for the ac 110 holds enough bacteria, so I can put it on the 46?

why not move one ac110 on to the 46gal and then move the filter on the 46gal to 55 and switch it back in a week
Not to fully cycle, but a week is long enough to "seed" the filter with an initial bacteria colony.
