well my oscars have reached the 6in length and i was thinking to move them to my bigger tank the problem is i have already stocked it with 10in midavils, texas, jags think they got a chance.
I think your O's will be toast. Best chance of an oscar/jag or oscar/midavil combo working is having established large O's, larger than the devils or jags.
Though in a tank that large you could try it...I'd make sure there's plenty of cover so the O's aren't constantly "under the gun". In the end it will just depend on the personalities of the particular fish (isn't THAT a stock answer around here?)...if your oscars are the type to sulk when things don't go their way you might be in trouble, but if they're more tolerant of a little beating up they might fit in. But if your jags and devils really want to they'll be able to kill your O's.
if you had some divider or something similar you can add that so that the oscars can do their typical moping and sulking and adapt to the tank without being battered by the other cichlids

So this is a 700 gallon tank.....how many devils, tex, and jag are in it? What's the tank dimensions? It would take a lot of them to rule out any room for the o's. I would grow them out a couple more inches either way, just to get them to a comparible size. But still....
